Things that come to mind when I think about Air Force 1s:

I didn't like Air Force 1s at first. My first pair was this white + light khaki, black sole that my Dad got from Hong Kong when I was still in high school. They didn't come in my size so he got them a half size bigger. I didn't enjoy wearing it at all since they fell off my feet, so they ended up becoming beaters for the rainy season.

I was a bit hesitant getting this pair of lows because of that experience. I was sure of the mids tho coz the strap was something I really liked, but I guess I gave the lows another chance since I'm a sucker for all white + this time around they're in the correct size. They still make my feet look big so I'm never ever wearing them with jeans, but they do make me feel like I can roll with Turtle.

So sorry for not updating for over a month! I spent the first half of April in NYC + San Antonio, and when I got back home I had to catch up with everything I missed at work. Then there's also the Clips sending my Spurs home in the first round of the playoffs which was truly heartbreaking...

Anyway, I also took the time to move my blog out of Tumblr. So if you look around, the website's got a new look and feel. I love how it's really simple and straight-forward. It'll take a while to get my past posts migrated on here, but so far so good. I'm real excited to get things going again and maybe post more than just the outfits + kicks.

When I left for the US, I had a mission: buy all white. It's been a goal of mine to have a couple of pairs that were completely white. Just clean and simple. The Air Force 1 Low and Mid came out at Titan, but they didn’t come in my size so I had to get both abroad. Needless to say, mission accomplished thanks to Footlocker. I even got my hands on a pair of white/grey adidas Pure Boost for only $54.

Now that I have my white pairs, they make up majority of my summer kicks rotation - Air Max 90s, Air Force 1 Low, Air Force 1 Mid, adidas Pure Boost, adidas Superstar, Air Jordan 11 Retro Legend Blue - so expect to see more lifestyle pairs rather than my usual Js. I'll see how long I can stay on this white phase, but it's definitely gonna be tiring having to Jason Markk them all the time though!
